Happy Wednesday everyone!

I think that someday soon I need to write a post about how to start a blog. And my first piece of advice will be to be 110% certain of the name you pick from the very beginning. Changing my site over has not been simple by any stretch of the imagination. If blogging and creating content was all this was I’d be set! But the technological side of things is SO hard to figure out sometimes! I wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who wrote or called or emailed about the glitches you found. Some of them are super easy to fix and some I’ve spent hours upon hours trying to work on and they’re STILL not done! (Did you notice all of those pictures at the top are gone??? Ya, that’s not intentional…And I’m SO sorry for all of you who subscribed and got a confirmation from OGS….that was a huge mistake too…..)

Thanks for being patient with me through this process and for all of the support with the new launch!!! Please keep letting me know if there’s anything you see/find that isn’t working rightly! I have a list going and one day (Lord willing) they’ll all be worked out and the site will run smoothly!

Soooo many people have asked me about this skirt! But it’s actually NOT skirt, it’s a dress! The night I took these photos the air was cold and the sun was going down fast so I grabbed some layers on the way out the door. And I’m so glad I did! I think adding layers on top of dresses in the winter is the way to go!

This dress from Free People was one of the most comfortable and lovely things I’ve ever put on my body. Not only was it such an amazing color, but the way it twirled and flowed when I spun and walked was sooo fun! It’s the kind of dress that you dream of wearing as a little girl!

The thing about fashion is that it’s so subjective. Some people swear by name brands and save up every last penny to be able to afford high quailty items that can be worn for years to come. And others love to buy cheap. Trends come and go so fast that it’s not worth the huge investment to buy expensive when the styles will be gone in such a short time.

I definitely land somewhere right in the middle. There are some things I just would NEVER buy name brand, but other things that are more of a splurge and are worth the extra. With this look I loved pairing a little bit of both. Altough the exact dress isn’t for sale anymore (bummer) I’ve linked a few similar styles below. But this cute sweater I paired it with is from Walmart. Yep, you read that right. It’s from Walmart folks! I bought it in a large on purpose and had planned to throw it on with some leggings during these rainy months, but at the last second grabbed it to put over this dress. And the vest…get this….it’s from the girls section at Target! It was an XL from the little girls racks! And the styles in that section are way cheaper than the adult section. I love thinking outside the box with styles and I love how this look turned out.

Hope you all have a great day!
