Our day was amazing! We made pumpkin pancakes with turkey bacon and opened up Halloween presents from the grandparents! Then we got all ready in our costumes and spent the day at Disney! There’s just something so magical about the park when it’s a holiday season!
Getting to go on the Pirates ride dressed as Jack Sparrow was the highlight of the day! Even the employees loved their costumes!
Then we went home and ate dinner…I made soup earlier this morning and left it in the crockpot so it’d be ready when we walked in the door. After we ate we went trick or treating at all of our favorite spots. There’s a few streets near us that go ALL out for Halloween. The decorate their houses unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Some of them plan their decor for an entire year! The streets are packed with kids everywhere wearing glow sticks and the most creative costumes.
Then we came back home and ate donuts, drank hot chocolate and played board games in our pajamas (a yearly tradition!).
It took me some time to round up these photos from years past, but I was so excited to remember what the kids were dressed as each year. Somehow we’ve lost 2007…but hopefully we’ll find those soon! On a positive note…it would seem that all of my many hours spent learning photography from you tube videos while I fold laundry seems to be paying off….every photo taken before 2016 are obviously taken from a phone instead of an actual camera. Hooray for learning new things!
Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
