LOVISHLY with MEG MARIE
Based off the newly released book, With All Joy.
The truth is the methods in this book will serve you and will increase the joy in your home, but the aim ought always be an increased dependence and deepened relationship with Jesus. Remember it is us who are also children of God being trained up at the same time as our children. God continues to work on us, always transforming and always growing us.
Training our children in the ways I share in this book does not mean that we are now to find our hope in results or obedience. And this kind of training certainly does not guarantee that we will not grow tired or will handle every situation perfectly. However, I absolutely believe this approach of training is one that will breathe new life into your home, new hope into your hearts, new perspective into your parenting and new joy into your families.
I have no doubt your home will grow in peace and your heart will grow in confidence. Not confidence in yourself, your skills, or your abilities. Rather the confidence you can have in the truth that God’s word does not come back void. The Bible instructs us to train up our children:
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Our loving Father knows best how we are to walk in this journey of bringing up little ones in our homes. My hope is you will seek to create a home you love and children that are fun to be around. My desire is that you will shape a home with order and peace and one that creates the space to thrive and not just survive.
