A bit of backstory…
When my previous stylist burned off my hair…
I had been swimming a lot that summer, so there was damage from the sun, chlorine and heat. At my next routine hi-light, my hair was absolutely ruined when exposed to the products. Years of growth, fullness and care…gone.
I sobbed – shocked at how one appointment could cause so. much. damage. Within two short hours it had melted off like rotted pieces of yarn. What I was left with felt like crunchy, frail feathers.
Having the right hair stylist makes all the difference. After my hair was burned off I made a promise I would never go to anyone else without doing extensive research. I would dig into their past clients, learn about her personality, and travel if I had to. Never again would I let someone touch my hair that I didn’t FULLY trust.
And that’s when I found Austen. Her meticulous attention to detail, matched with her eye for accentuating her clients best features, and her heart to care deeply for every single one of her clients is second to none.
When we first met we connected IMMEDIATELY. She has not only transformed my outward appearance, and restored health to my natural hair, but has helped heal my heart through such amazing, inspiring, God-honoring conversations as I’ve sat in her chair.
