My journey into the realm of balanced eating began out of necessity. We had our first 5 kids within 6 years and it’s only gotten busier since then! Juggling the demands of a large family while trying to maintain a semblance of personal health was a challenge that once felt insurmountable. I learned the hard way that neglecting my dietary needs in the hustle of motherhood only led to decreased energy, mood swings, and an overall sense of being overwhelmed.

The turning point came when I realized that my eating habits were not only affecting me but also thwarting my ability to thrive instead of just survive. This change wasn’t just about losing baby weight or following a diet trend; it was about nurturing my body with the right foods and showing up for those I love most.

It’s not about perfection but about making better choices one meal at a time. My goal is to share all of the knowledge I have gained with other mamas who might be struggling like I was.
